We conducted laboratory testing on the concrete textile block from the Frank Lloyd Wright Ennis House in Los Angeles, Calif. Built around 1924, this property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is designated as a California Historical Landmark. The work was conducted in March 2007. Laboratory testing included removal of the failing surface coating, petrographic examination, salt analysis, and water absorption. [AMT Labs report number 0703-04.]

The laboratory testing for this project was presented at the Concrete & Cast Stone in the 21st Century: Design, Preservation, & Care of Contemporary & Historic Architecture at MIT Department of Architecture, Boston, MA in 2008.
