New construction
With new construction projects, AMT Labs conducts testing to determine the most effective cleaning materials and protective treatments for masonry and other architectural materials. Test results help avoid staining and premature deterioration sometimes caused by inappropriate products.
Existing buildings
With existing structures, AMT Labs conducts on-site assessments to document existing conditions and determine sources of deterioration affecting building materials. The laboratory testing conducted by AMT Labs identifies appropriate products to remove general soiling and stains that detract from the intended appearance. Lab tests also evaluate treatments for stabilizing conditions and providing protection from future deterioration.
